Ingredients
- 8 oz Halloumi cheese
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Sriracha
- 1 tbsp Fresh parsley
- Black pepper
Instructions
Cut the halloumi block into fry-like strips, approximately 1/4 inch thick and 3 inches long.
Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the halloumi fries in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
While the halloumi cooks, whisk together honey and Sriracha in a small bowl to create the spicy honey drizzle.
Once cooked, transfer the halloumi fries to a serving plate. Drizzle generously with the spicy honey and garnish with fresh chopped parsley and a grind of black pepper.
Serve immediately as a hot appetizer or snack.
